US President Donald Trump has claimed that any potential agreement with Iran would be a “good deal,” while criticizing former President Barack Obama over past nuclear negotiations with Tehran.
Trump told ABC News that the results of continuing negotiations with Iran hinge on him and that he would not sign a “drafty” deal.
“I don’t make bad deals,” Trump said while discussing reports of a possible Iran-US agreement.
Trump Criticizes Obama-Era Iran Nuclear Deal
Trump said that if he does sign a deal with Iran, it will be entirely different from the nuclear deal that was signed in Obama’s administration. The previous deal gave Iran financial advantages and allegedly helped it develop nuclear arms, Trump said.
He said that his administration’s plan would be “the exact opposite” of the Obama-era deal.
The former U.S. president also stressed that the proposed agreement is not final and no details have been made public so far.
“Our deal has not been fully settled yet, and nobody has seen it,” Trump said during the interview.
Trump Dismisses Critics Over Iran Talks
Trump has attacked political rivals and experts who have raised doubts about potential talks with Iran, telling them to pay no attention to “failed individuals” who have made statements without knowing the details.
He said that tensions between US and Iran must have been addressed years back by the previous US governments.
These statements follow escalating international activity in relation to ties between the United States and Iran, particularly regarding Tehran’s nuclear program and regional security issues.
Trump Shares AI-Generated War Image With ‘Adios’
The same day, Trump posted an AI-generated image on social media depicting scenes of war and destruction involving Iranian boats.
The word ‘Adios’, which is a Spanish word, typically means ‘goodbye’ or ‘bye-bye’.

The post attracted a lot of attention online, with social media users questioning the significance of the image and suggesting it might be connected with future US policy or the current tensions between the US and Iran.
However, Trump did not provide any explanation alongside the post.
Iran-US Deal Remains Uncertain
Despite Trump’s comments, no official announcement regarding a final Iran-US agreement has been made yet. It is expected that any future agreement would target Iran’s nuclear program, sanctions relief, and regional security.
The situation continues to be closely monitored as diplomatic discussions between Washington and Tehran remain under global scrutiny.
