Citizens consuming up to 200 units of electricity will receive free solar systems.
Those using 200 to 500 units can access interest-free loans for solar panel installation.
Rising Electricity Tariffs:
This week, the average basic electricity tariff was approved to increase from Rs29.78 to Rs35.50.
The National Electronic Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) reported a staggering Rs403 billion loss in Pakistan’s power sector during the Financial Year 2022-231.
