The government has increased petrol and high-speed diesel prices from September 15. Petrol now costs Rs380.24 per liter, while diesel is priced at Rs409.42 per liter.
The Petroleum Division has announced a fresh increase in fuel prices due to changes in international oil prices.
The price of petrol has increased by Rs4.42 per liter, from Rs375.82 to Rs380.24. The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has increasedby Rs6.10, from Rs403.32 to Rs409.42 per liter
The new rates will remain effective from September 15 under the revised fuel pricing system.

The federal cabinet has approved a new pricing system for petroleum products. Under the system, OGRA will publish updated fuel prices on its website every day.
The system will use a seven-day rolling average of international petroleum prices. Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik said the new method will bring Pakistan’s fuel pricing closer to international practices.
The new system also aims to help consumers see changes in international oil prices more quickly.
