Petrol now costs Rs 387.54 per liter, while high-speed diesel (HSD) is priced at Rs 402.24 after the latest fuel price reduction.
The federal government has cut the petrol price by Rs 1.49 per liter. It has also reduced the HSD price by Rs 2.73 per liter.
The revised rates will take effect from September 30, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division. The government cited changes in international oil prices for the latest revision.

Under the revised fuel pricing framework, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will publish updated prices on its website each day.
The new mechanism uses a rolling seven-day average of international petroleum prices. Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik said the system will allow domestic fuel prices to reflect changes in global oil markets more quickly.
