KARACHI: Unidentified thieves decamped with 25 sacrificial goats in Gulistan-e-Johar here on Sunday night.
A major theft was reported in Gulistan-e-Johar, where 25 goats were allegedly stolen from Block 8-A overnight.
According to details, the owner of the animals filed a complaint at Malir Cantt Police Station after discovering that all the goats had gone missing. The estimated value of the stolen goats exceeds Rs1.9 million, causing a significant financial loss to the owner ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.
According to the owner, Muhammad Osama Khan, the stolen goats were worth more than Rs1.9 million and had been brought to the city for sale during Eid al-Adha.
Police said CCTV footage of the suspects has been obtained, and efforts are underway to trace and arrest those involved.
A video was posted on social media that showed parts of the crime. The police will review it to determine who the suspects are. The police are conducting an investigation and looking for those responsible for this crime.
